With slightly cooler morning breezes and changing moon tides, gamefish are actively feeding along the marsh entrances and tidal creeks surrounding the mouth of the Weeki Wachee River. The snook bite has picked up significantly, with aggressive strikes happening on live whitebait and soft plastic paddletails fished along current breaks.Along with snook, redfish are continuing their late-summer schooling behavior, roaming the shallow flats and grass flats near the Weeki Wachee marshes.
